Zay La Vee began with two lifelong friends who first met in a high school art class — and years later found themselves drawn back together by the same things that had always connected them: design, travel, and an eye for the details others might pass by.

That instinct became the foundation of House ZLV.

We believe the places we experience stay with us. Not always through the obvious landmarks, but through the smaller things — a particular shade of blue, the worn doorway on a quiet street, something made by hand, a morning coffee, a market find, or the feeling of an ordinary afternoon somewhere far from home.

Those are the details we collect.

Each Zay La Vee design begins with a sense of place and is interpreted through original artwork with warmth, restraint, and intention. Some pieces bring you back to somewhere you know. Others hold the promise of somewhere still waiting to be experienced.

Nothing is created simply to say where you have been.
